Based on this verse, we can see that God has a greater plan in Mary’s life, but she took a step back thinking: How is this miracle going to happen? It seemed impossible. Many times in life, we look at situations and circumstances, forgetting that we are worshiping a living God who created this universe. Many believers in the Bible were called to do something beyond their capacity — but when they believed and took action, they were victorious. We have read about Noah, who built an ark, and David, who beat Goliath with just a sling and rock. So many times the obstacles might seem insurmountable, but God will provide when we are willing to take a step of faith. Last year, I was heading to Bahrain for a mission trip. I had no place to stay, but God told me He would provide. As I flew into Bahrain and met Brother Thomas, he asked where he should take me. Looking on my phone to see if God had provided a place, I told him I had nowhere to go. We went to breakfast and then he took me to the Bible Society to see if they had room. This was my last hope. And that is where God gave me His answer of a place to stay! Even when all looked impossible, I had to believe God would be true to His Word. And He was. And He is. He always is. God is still a faithful God who works many miracles for me, and I know He is doing the same for you. He is never late; His timing is always perfect. So, when God calls you, don’t question how it is going to happen, but watch as God builds your faith to see how He is going to do it!

It has brought a big change in my mind and opened it to see beyond what I have right in front of me. The equipping has touched me on the importance of continually reaching out to people. It has equipped me with other ways of reaching people to end Gospel poverty.
