Just like the rains end seasons of drought and give life to dry plants, so does our Lord and Savior. He restores. Years ago, I was betrayed, accused falsely, and humiliated by people who I loved and trusted. Consequently, I suffered financial loss, as well as emotional and mental pain. It was a season of dryness and difficulties on one hand, but on the other, it was a time to be healed, refreshed, molded, and refined to be Christlike. God is mighty, real, and faithful. He opened opportunities I had never imagined and proved that He is God in all seasons. Occasionally, memories of the past pain and difficulties come back, giving me chills and fears. But God has reminded me that He is not finished with me yet and that I have to forget that incident and focus on the new and wonderful things He is always doing in my life.

The Haggai Leader Experience helped me to remember that as a Christian, God’s agenda comes first and not mine. So in all decisions I make I have purposed to be guided by God’s Word and not my feelings or thoughts. In addition, through the equipping, I have learned to focus on my personal relationship with God and give it due attention. I am constantly reminded that evangelism is urgent and therefore should be the priority in any outreach that I do.
