At a revival meeting held for the Katkari people in the hilly jungles of central India, a fanatical group dismantled the shed, the stage, and cut the electric wires and the water supply. Amidst this chaos, I organized the women to gather under a tree, and we began to worship. The rest of them quickly reset the stage, the shelter, and the microphone. Since the water pipe from the foot of the mount was severed, they formed a human chain by passing pots of water and filled the tank. In the meantime, a team of policemen reached the spot, while the miscreants camped at the foot of the hill till sunset and inadvertently listened to God’s Word! Proclaiming Christ and professing Christian faith is risky. But when God is on our side, there’s nothing to fear. The step of faith amidst uncertainties and risks will bear fruit in His time.
