Of all Jesus’ messages, this rhetorical question has gained more pertinence in the past couple of years. Issues like anxiety, trauma, depression, and suicide have escalated worldwide. More people are aware of the importance of mental health and are open to seeking help for their mental well-being. In India, mental health was even mentioned during our government’s 2022 budget sessions. But sadly, mental healthcare remains a luxury and privilege. A severe shortage of mental health professionals (only three for every 1 million people in India) creates an epidemic of its own. As I have sought ways to fill the gap, doing what I can to learn and provide help — not forgetting I myself often need help — and have found great comfort in Luke 12. God reminds us that He already knows our needs, before we even ask. We are to seek His Kingdom above all else and we will have everything we need. May we always seek the Healer, Jehovah Rapha. He is the key to true healing.

The Haggai Leader Experience helped prioritize evangelism over other aspects of my life, work, and ministry. While I was already involved in ministry and evangelism, the need and urgency to reach the lost increased exponentially. Whether it is through media, worship, children and youth programs, social service, or even daily interactions with people, I now intentionally look for opportunities to not only share the Gospel, but live the Gospel out in both word and deed: Proclamation + Demonstration.
