For a long time, I’ve interpreted this particular verse in a way that made it hard to obey. I thought I had to manage my treasure in a way that would delight the Lord, but not long ago I read something that completely changed my mind about it. The heart attracts the treasure as a magnet does to metal, so it is easier to focus on your heart and know your treasure will follow. I do not know what kind of treasure you have, but I know the kind of heart you have: One that is devoted to Christ. You know you cannot control your treasure, no matter what it is, but you can control your heart. Just attach your heart to the Lord, and you will see your treasure coming toward you. Perhaps you have to stop running after the blessings and allow the blessings to follow you. I am trying to do this right now. It is not easy, but it is possible. May the Lord bless you.

My Haggai equipping was such a blessing in my life that I don’t have enough words to describe the real impact. But I have one word to say about it: gratitude.
