The cross is a symbol of the price paid by Christ for the redemption of mankind. It symbolizes the path of suffering Jesus Christ had to undergo to fulfill the will of God the Father. Jesus Christ had to die on the cross as a penalty for the sins of mankind. He could have very easily refused to go through this path of suffering, but He wanted to fulfill the will of God in His life at any cost. We, as disciples of Jesus, also have a cross of suffering to carry. For some it may be a cross of sickness, family problems, or financial difficulties. Whatever it may be, we must carry it and follow in the footsteps of the Lord, who is our Master. Whatever our difficulties, we should never run away from the cross given to us. We must fulfill the will of God in our lives, just as Jesus did. The Lord will give us grace to carry our cross; He will never leave us or forsake us. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all” (Ps. 34:19). There is no crown without a cross. “If we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He also will deny us” (2 Tim. 2:12). Dear child of God, are you going through a lot of suffering? Cheer up, Emmanuel is with us. His grace is sufficient for us. This cross of suffering in our earthly journey is only for a short while. The Lord will give us the crown of righteousness and we will reign with Him forever.

The Haggai Leader Experience has helped me to understand that the last command of our Lord Jesus Christ should be our first concern and reaching every nook and corner of the globe with the Gospel should be our aim. My equipping has helped me to reach out to the youth of our region with the Gospel and also to train them for Gospel work.
