Our God is an awesome Creator. His children are endowed with a gift of creativity. “Creativity is the ability to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems, communicating with others, and entertaining ourselves and others” (Robert E. Franken). It is the ability to produce work that is both novel (original, unexpected) and appropriate. In the game of chess, we find novelties — moves that have never been played before. To find novelties, one must have complete mastery of the game and come out with a move, thinking outside the box. As Christians, we can ask the Lord to help us think creatively as we communicate, live, love, and work to share His message of love with the world. To end Gospel poverty, we need to share the Good News with creativity, innovation, and strategy in every realm of our lives.

Haggai equipped me to be a good leader, one with integrity and grace. And taught me skills to avoid corruption at work.
