Something I always ask God when I pray for myself, family, friends, and His people is not only for God’s protection, but also for His provision — that we are not only protected today, but we are being prepared for a greater service tomorrow. Years ago, I learned the song, “I Am Determined to Live for the King,” which helps me a lot in my Christian life. It reminds me to be strong and not be shaken under any circumstances. Part of the song says: “I am determined to be invincible till He has finished His purpose in me, and nothing shall shake me, for He’ll never forsake me, and I am determined to live for the King.” With this in our minds and hearts, should we not be more confident in God, and shouldn’t we trust the Lord even more? After all, He is on our side. We have set the Lord always before us.

My Haggai equipping taught me to share the Gospel boldly with those who do not know Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. Taught me to be stronger and prayerful — loving, obeying, and cleaving more to Him.
