There is joy in finding the lost! The parables of our Lord are remarkable stories. The lost coin mentioned in verses 8‚ì9 in connection to our verse today was held with several others on a silver chain worn around the head as a mark of a married woman. The coin was lost at home. Have I lost something at home? The Lord is not talking about things but is illustrating the value of lost persons. Is someone lost in my family — my son, daughter, spouse, or parents? She realized she was working in the darkness — she needed more light in this search. If we are going to find those lost at home, we need the light of the Word. The woman swept the house. There is a need to admit fault, to be open, and to be transparent and honest within the family circle.

During the Haggai Leader Experience, I learned to keep faith in the promises of God. Because He is very faithful in keeping His promises. And the importance of the Word to be shared among the non-believers.
