By reading this verse concerning the Pharisee who boasted and the tax collector who humbled himself, I was reminded of Jesus, who washed the disciples’ feet, the work of a slave. I have learned that humility is central to ministry. The power of humility is evident in salvation, and it is demonstrated by the tax collector who humbled himself. When we accept that we are sinners through humility, we can receive salvation. The power of humility is evident when we acknowledge that we cannot change ourselves. It is only God who can change us. The power of humility is evident when we discover it is by grace. We are saved by grace and kept by grace, and we will be glorified by grace. I am a product of the grace of God. I have preached by the grace of God and will continue to do so by the grace of God. The power of humility is evident through prayer. We go to God in prayer with humility, knowing that without Him we cannot do anything. The power of humility is evident in fasting and giving. We need humility in Christian ministry.

My equipping through Haggai helped me learn how to better work with different church denominations to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water and to experience the Living Water, which is the Gospel of Jesus, which alone satisfies the deepest thirsts.
