Years ago, I had been very much concerned for someone in our church. He was a young man, married with one child, and jobless. Whenever he came to me, I did my best to help, because he was so faithful to the activities in the church and showed so much commitment. Finally, I called him and gave him a job in my company. He began missing church meetings, even Sunday services sometimes, allegedly for job requirements. I came to realize God was simply a helper for this brother, as he may be for a number of other people around me in the church. In those difficult times may the Church preach and show not only a powerful helper, but the one “besides whom there is no Savior.” He must be our Savior and our Lord.

The Haggai Leader Experience showed me Christianity is all about reaching other people with the word of God and gave me deeper insight of what Gospel poverty means. Since then, I have been committed to serving regions and groups less or not reached in my country.
