I like how clearly Jesus explains His assignment — to give life, not destruction. More than half of Bulgarians identify as Eastern Orthodox Christians, but when something bad happens (like a road accident, natural disaster, or a terminal disease) almost every time I hear a comment: “Maybe it was God’s will.” That shows ignorance about God’s Word and His character. My generation grew up ignorant of God’s Word and in spiritual darkness. I believe that by the grace of God, we could experience restoration of everything stolen in previous decades and that every area of life would be restored, including education, culture, business, politics, church, and relationships. God desires to give us all life to the fullest. We just have to accept Him.

The HLE was a life-changing experience. It made aware of the Gospel poverty in so many nations and challenged me to believe and work for decreasing it through my gifts, time, and devotion.
