India has a guru-shisya tradition, which means a master gives special knowledge to his chosen disciples. Jesus has called us His friends and foretold that many terrible things would happen in the world before His second coming. As we inch closer toward the end of the world as we know it, we have a mixture of overwhelming emotions: anger, confusion, shock, fear, anxiety, frustration, inadequacy, helplessness, depression, failure, and sadness over many things. We all suffer the effects of corruption, natural calamities, financial crises, pandemics, and rising persecution for believers. However you feel today, Jesus promised us His peace in the midst of all these. Let us be alert. Do you belong to Christ? Let us be ready!
