As I sit down at the study table and look back on the decade that has gone by, I realize the veracity of the biblical proposition “Jehovah Jireh,” meaning God provides. The world is full of billions of God’s creations, be it the terrestrial, aquatic, or arboreal. When we gaze at the flora and fauna around us, one should marvel at the variety, diversity, and beauty of the Lord’s creations. From the largest mammal, the blue whale, to the minutest being, the amoeba, we can behold the intricacy, complexity, and splendor of His creations. Eph. 4:16 says, “From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” The beauty of God’s creation is that it works systematically. The Creator of the world has an intricate and inexplicable design for the birth, sustenance, and perishing of all the inhabitants of this Earth. We can trust Him. Mahatma Gandhi said, “The world has enough for everyone’s need, but not enough for everyone’s greed.” Yes, the handiwork of the Creator outshines the designs and creations of the human faculties, and no wealth on Earth can model it. Such is the astounding mystery of nature.
