This Scripture portrays the heart of God and His desire to provide salvation to everyone. Every person is precious in the sight of God. We should ensure that everyone sees our Christlike nature, which will hopefully attract others to accept His Son as their Savior. South Africa is a nation liberated from apartheid and engaged in national healing through the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, which was chaired by the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu. This was an attempt to bring closure to the numerous hurting families in South Africa. However, many still face various disparities, such as inequality and xenophobic clashes, which further depletes the nation. It is for this reason Christ’s ambassadors should see people through the teaching of John 3:17. We can start with those around us until we see it spread to many more within our area of influence. We should never make anyone who comes to the local church feel condemned, but we should embrace each one with love.

My equipping in 2001 at the Mid-Pacific Center in Maui has transformed my life and caused me to dream big for God’s Kingdom. Twenty-one years have passed and I still continue to teach and make disciples for Jesus. My spiritual life has grown immensely through this experience and I highly consider this equipping to be unparalleled to any other form of evangelism training. This has motivated me to further my academic studies, which has placed me strategically as the department head and an associate professor in communication science and has brought me many opportunities to interact on many platforms both nationally and internationally in the world of academia.
