Every believer in Christ longs to experience God’s Kingdom on Earth and desires to enter the Lord’s Kingdom for eternity. Though the Kingdom of God is open to all, it is not accessible by all. What did Jesus actually mean when He said these words immediately after interacting with the rich young ruler? According to one tradition, the “eye of a needle” refers to a gate in the wall of Jerusalem. During the day, this large gate is kept open through which anyone, including a camel, can easily pass. But at night, the large gate is shut and a smaller door in the center of the gate is opened, which only allows people to walk through. If a rich merchant brings merchandise on a camel’s back, it is impossible to enter through the narrow smaller gate. The merchant has to shed most of his possessions and remove the saddle from the camel’s back. Even still, the camel cannot walk through the gate, but has to kneel and crawl with much difficulty into the city.

Management Missionary; Youth and Family Counselor
The Haggai Leader Experience has given me clarity of my calling and helped me focus. Though there are many ways one can serve the Lord and His Kingdom, the equipping enabled me to craft my vision for Young Generation and Family Ministry. The past six years have been a tremendous experience in reaching the unreached youth through counseling, empowering families through training programs, and equipping likeminded leaders to carry on this vision for my country.
